What is Sr. Software QA Analyst at EXPRESS?

The Sr QA Software Analyst develops, maintains and executes manual and automated quality assurance tests cases and test plans to ensure accuracy and stability of software applications. This role will work closely with business partners, product owners, product managers, application teams, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure business requirements are met and delivered with high quality. Testing will include functional, smoke, exploratory, regression, performance, automated, accessibility, device and usability testing.

What you will do:

• Prepares detailed test plans, strategies and test cases based on documented requirements
• Reviews and provides feedback on business requirements, functional specifications and test cases
• Creates, reviews and executes detailed test scripts
• Track and communicate defects in a clear and concise manner
• Estimates QA effort; Assigns and supports tasks for QA Analysts and consultants
• Coordinates testing activities across teams for cross-functional projects
• Communicates testing status to the project team
• Provide guidance on processes, tools and methodologies
• Partners with Devops team to maintain the QA deployments
• Assists with release management activities
• Participating in the Sprint Demo and walk through the new functionality to Stake Holders

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of course work, training, and job experience
• 4 – 6 years of progressive QA experience
• Experience using QA software such as Jira, X-ray, HP-ALM or equivalent
• Knowledge of automated testing and release management
• Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking and resolving environment issues
• Experience building and executing test plans and estimating effort for cross-functional projects
• Strong understanding of Retail systems, processes and integrations
• Experience with Agile software development
• Experience testing Web, mWeb, iOS App and Android App Applications
• Experience testing an Order Management System
• Experience with End to End Testing and taking the order through all downstream systems
• Experience using the Dev Tools during Web Testing
• Experience with API Testing – Using tools like Postman, SOAP UI
• Knowledge of Performance Testing Concepts
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written)
