Analytics Work Flow Product Manager-IT

Role summary

Whether you’re now in product, trading, or technology your skills may enable your transition to a role where you are driving the development of financial applications using Python, our Jupyter-compatible Codebook, and an extensive suite of financial APIs. We are hiring individuals with coding skills and experience or a strong interest in product management for a hybrid role working with globally dispersed teams in Asia, the Americas and Europe.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing applications in Python.
• Product management activities: end to end product lifecycle oversight and tasks.
• Interacting with development teams to specify backend requirements.
• Communicating to our internal and client stakeholders on the merits of our capabilities, our product offerings, roadmaps and status.
• Directly and indirectly supporting client meetings with Sales and Account Management team
• Specification reviewing and writing for aspects of the solution that may require engagement from other cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with, learning from, mentoring, and guiding other team members across Labs, Product, Engineering, Proposition and Customer Ops and build a positive and productive work environment.

You’ll bring:

• 2+ years of development experience or technical acumen including proficiency in one programming language (Python highly preferred).
• Leading end to end product lifecycle.
• Ability to co-create cross-functionally and coordinate execution of product roadmaps across teams using agile methods and product lifecycle methodology.
• Ability to communicate the solution, its parameters, its assumptions and inner workings to audiences who vary widely in their levels of technical and markets proficiency and seniority.

Additional job descrption

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or an equivalent 
• Understanding of the technical implementation trade-offs to ensure requirements are not misunderstood or being ignored by a given implementation plan.
• Proficiency in English.
• COMPETITIVE SKILLS: Python, SQL or NoSQL queries, AWS or GCP Cloud, Docker or Kubernetes
• Hybrid Office/Work from home
