As a member of Neustar, you will work on a team to design and implement Web applications and APIs to facilitate a better local search experience. You will empower search engines to leverage our real-time intelligence and data assets to generate more relevant search results, and you will provide a platform for local businesses to promote, protect and manage their online profiles.
Responsibilities/Key Tasks
• Work across functional boundaries to design and implement fault-tolerant, high-performance, scalable, next-generation software for local search
• Participate in iterative design, implementation and testing
• Maintain coding and documentation standards, support bug fixes and QA activities
Languages: English B2-B2+
Technical Skills:
• Experience programming in one or more object oriented programming languages
• BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Experience with software development life cycle and best practices: design, testing, source control, continuous integration, automation
• Familiarity with software design principles, e.g. object orientation, design patterns, dependency inversion etc.
• Passion for writing good software
Nice to Have:
• Experience programming in C#/.NET
• Experience with MySQL or other relational database management system
• Experience with performant high-volume storage
• Experience developing modern front-ends (HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Experience with a MV* framework, e.g. Angular, React, Vue
• Knowledge of HTTP and REST
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
