Our .NET Developer applies specialized knowledge to conceptualize, design, develop, unit-test, configure, and implement portions of new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions) business and technical software solutions through the application of appropriate standard software development life cycle methodologies and processes. Interacts with the Client and project roles (e.g., Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Engineer) as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategic direction. Defines scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned components. Understands and uses appropriate tools to analyze, identify, and resolve business and or technical problems. Applies metrics to monitor performance and measure key project parameters. Prepares system documentation. Conforms to security and quality standards. Stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.

Job overview The Customer Mobile Applications Technology Platform department partners with business and technology leaders across the company to develop Customer Mobile iOS and Android Native Apps with smartphone services orchestration layer across functionalities. As a senior software developer, you will be responsible for the development of mission-critical applications, while working with a team of developers.

Who you are?

 

8+ years of professional experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study.

Without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (11+ years in total).

 

Technical Skills:

 

 Must be comfortably proficient with the C# .Net stack with at least 5 years of professional development experience. Knowledge of the .Net IDE is essential.

 Familiarity with SPA application development, preferably Vue JS.

 Must be familiar with the concepts around application integration patterns.

 Must be proficient with building applications using .NET Core (dotnetcore)

 Experience with Typescript, Javascript, and JSON is required.

 

Project Specific:

 

 Must be highly proficient with database technology, preferably Microsoft SQL. Experience with Entity Framework and LINQ is a plus.

 Must be highly proficient with API design (e.g. REST) and development thereof.

 Must be proficient with Source Code Version Control systems such as Git

 Must be able to work within a development team, typically running an Agile methodology.

 Must be familiar with Azure DevOps; execute Agile methodology within the tool.

 Must Know Dynamic 365 and Dynamic AX (CRM and ERP)

 Must be familiar with test strategies and test frameworks in software engineering, such as implementation testing, unit testing, and integration testing to satisfy customer acceptance criteria.
