Costa Rica 2026 HR Internship Program

Huntsman is hiring for our 2026 Human Resources Internship Program located in Costa Rica.

Our intern program is tailored to individuals who are currently enrolled full-time students at an accredited four-year college or university. The internship runs from January to November- dependent on the intern’s availability. The goal of the Huntsman Intern Program is to provide a structured program that will equip interns with the skills and experience to help prepare for a successful career.

As an HR Intern, you will:

  • Assist with recruitment activities including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Support onboarding processes by preparing documentation and assisting with orientation sessions.
  • Help maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Participate in employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics, including headcount and turnover metrics.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects within HR operations.
  • Support compliance efforts related to labor laws, internal policies, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR-related programs and initiatives.
  • Participate in regular HR team meetings and contribute to ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Excellent proficiency in English (B2+), both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • String interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent team player with a collaborative attitude.
