Senior Project Manager


Job Summary:
Lead the timely and successful completion of multiple concurrent projects across multi-disciplinary business units. Perform tasks and activities to meet project goals and deadlines. Organize, facilitate, and administer the flow of communication materials, schedules, project requests, and timelines between participating project stakeholders. Acts as a central point of contact to team members to inform and update on details of the project. Mentor and train junior project managers, including that outside of IT. Participate in the development of PMO strategies and policies. Participate in the development of programs, policies, and procedures for non-IT departments. Perform other duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• 10 or more years of project management responsibility and experience (experience managing technical projects preferred).
?• Experience working with JIRA or Workfront is desirable.
?• Advanced English level.
• Ability to manage and direct project teams of all sizes.
• Ability to manage and direct international, remote, or virtual project teams.
• General business process knowledge required.
• Ability to manage and report on project budgets.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts.
• Proven ability to manage and direct several projects simultaneously.
• Experience with a technical background in more than one technical area (e.g., ERP, Web, Infrastructure, software development)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred. (Can be in process).
• Ability to develop and/or provide training in project management skills.
• Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and Office 365, Workfront.
• Familiar with common PM life-cycle processes and ability to employ appropriate tools. Agile experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication in business environments.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates effective use of time in multifaceted management responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate and work well with other employees, including senior and executive management.

Key Performance Indicators (examples only; may not apply to every market):
• Ability to provide project status reporting, including financial data about projects.
• Demonstrate via reporting and metrics project status.
• Understands the need to align various projects into appropriate portfolios.
