Objectives of the position:

Responsible for executing the organization’s logistics strategies and policies. This role will be focused on the management of third party suppliers, expense management, administration of logistics services, and routes with the objective of optimizing costs and delivery times in transit.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of global strategies and policies to ensure compliance with commercial service requirements, lowest sustainable costs, and inventory management related to logistics services.
• Manage logistics providers to include airline sourcing and negotiations.
• Lead logistics services development for new business development and corporate initiatives to include integrations, enhancements and changes. Direct to customer initiatives, inventory management, and supply chain alignment.
• Responsible for global logistics routes and policy guidelines. Comply with applicable internal and external laws and regulations.
• Lead and develop a team of logistics staff responsible for identifying business requirements, working with global transportation, customs compliance, and regional logistics teams.
• Lead the implementation of logistics technology to include global transportation management system interfaced to a global trade management system and procurement system.
• Function as Global Logistics leadership support for corporate meetings, projects, and external logistics providers.

Knowledge and Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics and transportation.
• Experience working in multinational, transnational, and/or global organizations.
• Knowledge of global logistics and customs regulations and requirements.
• Experience in Lean-focused logistics improvements
• Advanced English level.
