TALENT ACQUISITION SOURCING SPECIALIST

OVERVIEW:

Our most valuable asset is our people and this role plays a critical part in Tech Data acquiring top talent.

The Talent Acquisition Sourcer will be responsible for driving proactive sourcing efforts to identify a diverse pool of top talent for a wide variety of roles including but not limited to, individual contributors, professionals, technical specialists and leadership roles. This role manages the front end of candidate review process, identifying the best sourcing methods, developing a slate of candidates, applying agreed upon screening criteria and presenting the recruiters with top talent for each position. This role will partner closely with the recruiters to proactively identify talent and build recruitment strategies. In addition to routine recruitment, the sourcer will also work on priority hiring initiatives based on current business needs, identifying diverse talent pools for roles all across the globe!

English Fluency Required, Multilingual (German, Spanish, French and Czech) is a plus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES REQUIRED:

Sources Candidates (50%)

  • Reviews candidate applications to ensure interest and qualification alignment to role

  • Utilizes multiple sourcing techniques to include Boolean, niche industry searches and cold calling

  • Searching job boards, social sites and existing applications

  • Uploads proactively searched candidates into ATS

  • Builds saved searches on LinkedIn, Indeed, Entelo and other job posting sites for a proactive approach to continuously identify and engage top talent

  • Builds candidates pools of top applicant profiles to track via internal ATS

  • Maintains SLA’s through efficient and effective sourcing practices

  • Conducts regular follow-up with recruiter to determine the effectiveness of sourcing strategy and implementation to re-calibrate as needed

  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees.

  • Supports and enhances a recognizable «employer of choice» reputation for the company through best practices

  • Focuses on direct resourcing, leveraging internal and external networks, social media and job posting sites

     

Diversity Management (20%)

  • Provides a diverse slate of candidates for each role

  • Partners with internal Diversity Resource Groups and External affiliations to promote job opportunities and identify diverse talent

  • Supports HR Leadership Team in the development and implementation of plans / programs to meet company’s diversity and inclusion goals

  • Monitors organizational diversity objectives and progress in these areas that are specifically related to hiring; executes corrective action plans to improve performance in this area.

Employment Processes (15%)

  • Recommends and implements process improvements to ensure global privacy and compliance requirements are met

  • Reports to leadership on sourcing initiatives and results

  • Responsible for employment data accuracy and integrity

  • Partners closely with Recruiter to recommend and implement a sourcing strategy that is in alignment to the role requirements and departmental needs

Market Intelligence & Analytics (15%)

  • Provides market intelligence on top talent

  • Makes recommendations based on analytics and market trends

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Preferred Certified Sourcing Professional
