Sr. Associate- Commercial Process

The Commercial Operations Process team is focused on driving improvement to Commercial Group processes based on Lean Six Sigma and Agile to enhance the customer experience, drive consistent performance and enable efficiencies across the Commercial Group.

The individual will be measured on their support in the successful implementation of specific initiatives and the increase in operational and control effectiveness. The role works closely across departments in the global Commercial Group and with downstream functions to simplify and improve processes and enhance controls.

Under the direct supervision of Leads, you will work on projects and BAU activities in support of data analysis, improvement in execution and controls, Agile and Lean 6 Sigma principles.

Role/Responsibilities

Contribute to process efficiencies by analyzing and drawing logical conclusions from data reviews, identify root causes and provide recommendations for improvements.

Support Sales teams in assessing data accuracy and issues within the system/s that affect performance and control reporting and providing recommendations and support for remediation.

Capture, review and analyze business data and reports from different sources; like KPIs, process performance measurements, and other key metrics, to measure and report process performance.

Liaise with other Commercial teams like Billing, Collections, Pricing and Ratings to achieve efficiencies in the Commercial processes.

Support the rollout of new and revised business process as needed and by assisting in the review and update of Operational Guidelines, data, metrics, and controls.

Build and maintain process and control documentation, dashboards, and reports.

Build, maintain, and demonstrate excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, with particular emphasis on the Sales organization in assigned region(s)/lines of business.

Participate in and support the coordination of activities and ad hoc projects.

Represent the Commercial Ops team in internal meetings where applicable

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or engineering background.
2-4 years of working experience with a proven background in Data Analysis, Process Improvement or Sales Operations.
B2 or higher English language proficiency.
Exposure to and/or knowledge of the role and function of Rating Agencies a plus
Analytical problem-solving capabilities.
Experienced in problem solving through process reviews and data analysis.
Preferably certified in Yellow Belt in Six Sigma or higher
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications, with medium to sophisticated Excel skills. Familiarity with CRM, process charting applications, and Business Intelligence tools.
Curious, resourceful, thinks critically, fully explores problems and/or opportunities and proactively provides recommendations and solutions backed by data.
Exercises sound judgment and can articulate their own views.
Results oriented and focuses on results, bringing issues to a timely closure.
Able to prioritize and complete work tasks efficiently and optimally.
