That is why for this Senior Backend Developer role you will play a critical role, to help and assist with API development.

A Day in this Role:

• Experience with GO development, including designing, building, debugging and optimizing GO applications
• Experience working with AWS and containers
• Exposure to general development practices, such as source code management and binary, and dependency management using tools such as Git and Github.
• Familiarity working with CI/CD Pipelines and orchestration tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo and Argo CD
• A strong desire to continually learn about new technologies, approaches and systems, as well as the ability to work across multiple disciplines
• Desire to explore and discover technical solutions for evolving opportunities
• Willingness to learn by working with users across different business areas, experiences and cultures to drive towards the best outcome for the organization.

The Expertise Requested:

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of programming experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Go development and testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Go API development and testing.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with GraphQL development and testing.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of industry major RDBMS (preferable PostgreSQL).

 

Desired or Nice to Have or  Expertise:

• 1+ year of experience with Hasura Data API Platform GraphQL/REST API design/development.
• Excellent understanding of RDBMS and SQL. 
• Exposure to document databases such as MongoDb.
• Exposure to AWS & Container Orchestration
• Excellent understanding of REST API design, principles & testing.
• Excellent understanding of GraphQL.
• Excellent understanding of various types of testing types & strategies.
• Experience working with Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban).
• Good communication skills.
