IT Senior Business Functional Analyst- Event Inventory Management

Job description

The Senior Business Functional Analyst partners with stakeholders and technical teams to solicit and document process flows, features, requirements, and user stories as part of projects and enhancements and ensures quality delivery of those requirements through other IT partners including third party. He/she is responsible for building strong collaborative relationships with the stakeholders with a specific focus on the Event Inventory Management (EIM) as it relates to SAP and/or SalesForce.com.

 

What you will do:

 

• Build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders
• Act as functional subject matter expert in technologies such as: expertise in Event Inventory Management (EIM), Enhanced Warehouse Management (EWM), Inventory Management (IM) in SAP S/4 and/or SalesForce.com
• Responsible for soliciting and documenting features, functional requirements and user stories and ensuring quality delivery through other IT partners including third parties
• Document test cases and perform or manage user acceptance testing in partnership with testing center of excellence as applicable 
• Effectively leverage collaboration and planning tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO) for documentation of requirements and test cases
• Partner with testing center of excellence to ensure regression test scripts remain updated and are run on a regular basis to ensure platform continuity
• Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to drive consensus on the best solution tobusiness problems and the delivery of new solutions and enhancements   
• Define tangible, functional use cases that align desired technology output to both Marketing Operations and commercial business objectives
• Recommend business process and system changes to improve efficiency and business outcomes  
• Manage minor and major enhancement initiatives launching key capabilities to the platform in a governed fashion
• Ensure clear communication between stakeholders and IT development and support teams  
• This is an individual contributor role that requires use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision
• Expected to effectively collaborate in a global team environment 

 

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Management of Information Systems (MS), or Computer Information Systems (CS or CIS) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required
• Experience with process mapping and/or documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required
• Ability to understand, evaluate and recommend changes to business processes is required 
• Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle Methodologies (SDLC) and Agile Development methodologies is preferred
• Demonstrated functional and/or technical acumen in Event Inventory Management (EIM)
• Detailed knowledge of Event Inventory Management (EIM), Enhanced Warehouse Management (EWM), or Inventory Management (IM) leveraging SAP or SalesForce.com
