About the Job 

 

Avionyx is an aerospace software engineering company operating in the America Free Trade Zone, Heredia.  We are looking for a person interested in a long-term career providing support to the Accounting & Operations areas.

What You Will Get to Do

 

• Operations tasks that include:

– Managing imports/exports of high-tech equipment

-Maintaining the company’s imports and exports reports

-Oversee PROCOMER free trade zone compliances

-Maintaining fixed assets database

-Renewing yearly insurance policies

-Support PROCOMER annual audits

 

• Finance tasks that include:

-Supporting accounts payable processes

-Handling invoice control

– Register transactions in the accounting system.

-Processing employee reimbursements

-Running accounting reports

-Payroll reporting

Due to the type of tasks performed in this position, it is required that the person works at our offices located in America Free Zone (AFZ), Heredia.

• Accounting or Business Administration studies
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Strong inter-personal skills and trustworthiness
• Excellent detail orientation
• Strong organizational skills
• Great service orientation and task ownership
• Proficiency working with Excel spreadsheets
• Knowledge of accounting processes
• ​Desirable: experience working in free trade zone regime processes
